Summary
This project involved the installation of a new Standby Generator Plant (SGP) at (WA) Rottnest Lighthouse to improve backup AC power reliability for the site. The works included the installation of a new 20kVA generator, automatic transfer switching infrastructure, associated electrical cabling, monitoring systems, and commissioning activities.
Scope of Work
- Generator Installation: Installation of a new 20kVA standby generator with integrated fuel tank and controls.
- Electrical Infrastructure: Installation of a new ATS, ATS board, power cabling, alarms, controls, and monitoring systems.
- Service Cutovers: Staged power cutovers and temporary power arrangements during installation works.
- Structural Works: Minor make-good works, patching, painting, and installation of fire extinguishers.
- Testing & Commissioning: Generator testing, commissioning, AMS alarm integration, noise monitoring, and operational verification.
- Documentation & Logistics: Freight, craneage, O&M manuals, updated drawings, and project handover.
