About This Project

Summary 

This project involves the construction of a new greenfield SES Satellite Earth Station at Merredin, WA. The project includes the delivery of architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, and hydraulic infrastructure to support five SES satellite antennas and future site expansion. The works include construction of the main facility, antenna foundations, power infrastructure, communications services, security systems, and all associated testing and commissioning activities.  

Scope of Work 

  • Civil Works: Earthworks, fencing, gates, access roads, vehicle crossover, landscaping, and site infrastructure.  
  • Structural Construction: Construction of antenna foundations, building foundations, storage container foundations, access ladders, handrails, and anchor points.  
  • Electrical Services: Installation of switchboards, generators, ATS, UPS, earthing, lightning protection, power and communications cabling, lighting, and security systems.  
  • Mechanical Services: Installation of CRAC units, split-system air conditioning, ventilation, and exhaust systems.  
  • Hydraulic & Fire Services: Water supply, septic system, fire detection, aspirated smoke detection, gaseous suppression systems, and portable extinguishers.  
  • Testing & Commissioning: Testing and commissioning of all systems, SAT testing, regulatory compliance, and operational verification.  
  • Documentation & Handover: As-constructed drawings, O&M manuals, maintenance support, warranty services, and project handover.
