A better delivery model for complex projects.

In-house consultancy changes that equation.

Design, engineering and delivery advice sit with the same team, working from the same information, accountable to the same outcome. No procurement lead time for external firms, no scope gaps between disciplines, no waiting on someone else’s schedule.

Integrated delivery model DCE’s in-house consultancy capability was developed as a direct response to the cost and programme burden of coordinating multiple external consultants on complex, multidisciplinary projects.

Why in-house consultancy changes project economics.

External consultancy on complex projects comes with hidden costs. Engaging separate firms for design, engineering and project management means multiple contracts, multiple handoffs, and multiple points where information gets lost in translation. Every handoff adds a review cycle, every review cycle adds weeks, and by the time issues surface late in a project, they're expensive to fix. In many projects, that fragmented approach doubles or triples the cost and time of what should be straightforward technical decision-making.
