Summary
DCE Electrical was awarded the Construction of a Satellite Earth Station Facility which consisted of preparing Greenfield Site in preparation for construction of 19 Antennas and essential supportive infrastructure for complete turnkey project completion.
Scope of Work
Power
- New submain cabling,
- Cable enclosures, i.e. conduits, pipes, ducts,
- Installation of equipotential protective earthing network, bare copper cable (120mm2) and earth rods to a minimum depth of 16m, within an inspection pit, to each hut, antenna, CCTV pole and UT Pole
- Modification and extension of the existing Building MSB
- Installation of a new Building switchboard and connection to the existing Building ATS
- Interfacing and connection of UPS and STS to existing BMS
- Installation of DBG.1 and DBG.2
- Installation of General Power Distribution pillars
- Installation a pole mounted RCD protected 10A power outlet to each antenna
Communications
- Installation of new main fibre connection to between designated point within Main Building and shelter IDF.
- Communications fibre cable reticulation between the antennae and Equipment room shelter
