Summary
Merredin Inmarsat Earth Station (WA) requires the construction of a new earth station facility incorporating civil, structural, electrical, communications, and power infrastructure works. The project includes the construction of antenna foundations, equipment shelter infrastructure, generator systems, power reticulation, earthing systems, antenna installations, and associated testing and commissioning activities. The works are delivered through a staged design, procurement, construction, and commissioning methodology to support the new Earth Station installation.

- Project Management & Procurement: Equipment scheduling, procurement, material ordering, and shop drawing approvals.
- Civil Works: Site establishment, surveying, fencing, trenching, conduit and pit installation, excavation, concrete foundations, and reinstatement works.
- Antenna Infrastructure: Construction of antenna foundations including formwork, reinforcement, rag bolts, and concrete works.
- Building Construction: Installation of shelter concrete pads, steel structure, walls, roofing, roller doors, and access doors.
- Electrical Works: Installation of generators, switchboards, UPS systems, power cabling, conduits, pits, and earthing systems.
- Equipment Integration: Connection and testing of antennas, generators, switchboards, and power distribution systems.
- Testing & Handover: Testing, commissioning, as-constructed documentation, O&M manuals, and Practical Completion handover.
